Will you need. to show your DD-214 in verify service time…
I did not see Famous Dave’s listed. Are they providing meals for veterans this year.
Do you have a list of restaurants providing Nov. 11, 2021 (Veteran’s Day) free meals in Wisconsin ?
Is Mellow Mushroom Pizza on the list
Dunkin donuts and Starbucks should be ashamed of themselves one gives only the donut no drink. The other a drink no donut.
Really pitiful for big companies like that . Yes any is appreciated but they could have offered better.
Whom reads this I think will agree..
The idea is them saying Thank-you. Too many people plan to get as much for free from all the places doing it. If the coffee and donut is to cheap for you you can always reach in your pocket. Myself personally will be looking to give someone that is in need a free meal
Copy that
I agree
Dunkin’ Donuts in Stockton ca does not honor (individually own) in the past yrs…don’t know if they will start this tear…arrrgh shame.
Dunkin doughnuts is giving away for Veterans Day the cheapest of all
Yes i agree. Should have drink with the donut. I was in the Army.
You had donuts in the Army? :)
Your damn right they should offered
At least coffee and a donut for those who served and gave years of their lives for”our great country!”
Is there a Sheetz near Menifee CA 92585 ?
AS far as I am concernd , I feel that all of these places are doing a great thing and a big Thank you for this !!!! It is much better than the remarks and spitting i received when I got back from Viet Nam !!! With the way this country is going any thing that shows thanks to the vets is a great thing !!!!
Aye…I’m a Viet Vet, and you’re right.
Also a Vietnam veteran
Thanks to all that give something. Just thank all the vets for their service. we all have rights, but ones right is no better than the other. Think o everyone and not just yourself. All i ask as a vietnam vet is to have peace among all our people. I did not serve for all the political bull crap going on in our country.
Amen Brother, I remember those days well. I was never more disappointed in my life as when I got off the plane and was met with the cat calls and the flying bags of feces and urine. I did not expect a ticker tape parade, but never my wildest dreams did I expect what I and my fellow soldiers received. Welcome home, my brother, I am glad you made it back to the”World”
Thanks for your service brother. Did not expect to see an insurrection in our country, as a vet, brought tears to my eyes. come on people WE ARE BETTER THAN THAT.
Yes, I’m a Vietnam veteran and I totally agree with you. I’m very thankful and grateful.
I appreciate all the freebies being offered. However, it would be nice if the drinks for dinners and/or lunches were included in these offers. Then it would actually feel like its free. Since we do have to pay for everything else. Now if only this day would also be a work holiday that would be great.
How about McDonalds no longer giving military discounts on their menu items? They are generous enough to give a seniors’ discount on coffee purchase. Big deal!
Almost two years ago I was in hospital ICU with near fatal illness. Now each day I wake up is a bonus. Thanks to all who served and the businesses who remember them. God is good. 82d ABN vet
I lost my husband n child hood sweetheart in 2020 , is a widow eligible .?????????
i also have my father in law who is retired military n bringing him.
I served during the Viet Nam Era. I remember coming home thru the San Francisco Airport. I was spit on and called a baby killer. I was and always be a United States Marine. I am proud of my service. I also respected the rights of the people who did not believe in the war. But I will always have a little anger over being spit ojn.
Yeah? While enjoying a cold beer after work in 2020. I busted a beer mug on some punks face for screaming at me to go back to my country! I was wearing a baseball cap which read ARMY. He was pissed about immigrants coming into HIS country. I flipped him off. When he threatened to kick my ass all the way back to the border and ran up to me. I let him have the mug to his nose a couple times. Empty of course.! Just couldn’t bear to spill or waste my paid for beer. I just want to be free in the country I love. Don’t need nothing free. I will pay!
I’m very proud to be a veteran and serve in the 101 airborne Rangers in Vietnam and proud for everyone that put there life’s for this country so don’t complain about what they give you just be glad they give you. something 😀. Happy Veterans day to everyone that served
Fogo de Chao in New York is offering 50% off to Veterans and active duty members. Hurry up and make your reservation!
Better than nothing about the donut, get your donut in dunkin and get your drink in Starbucks that’s easy no complaint about that.
I wonder about Applebees. They have given out meals in the past. I have enough to buy my own food but
its a treat to think that someone gives a dam. I was in Marine Corp and in Viet Nam 1967-68. Im poor enough that the government offered me food stamps. I turned them down. Im sure there are many out there that need them more then me.
I wonder if the pot shops have any specials?
would keep the crazies mellow. thank for your service.
I truly appreciate every business involved with offers for Veterans.
I was accosted in the Cincy Airport by MOONIES
and nearly arrested for defending myself while being called vile names April of 1967.
Now people Thank Me for my service..
What riles me today is the Trash leading our military..
A day is coming when our enemies will attempt to Rule America!!!!
I served in a MASH unit in Vietnam during the Tet offensive in 1968. When I returned to the world, I was insulted and disrespected by many. In fact my old employer refused to hire me back. Now all I hear is thank you for your service. I do appreciate the freebies.
