Universal Studios Military Discount

Did you know that Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida had 4.1 million visitors in 2020? It’s the perfect place for a family vacation! 

The Universal Studios military discount is offered for their three parks. Whether you’re active duty or a retiree, the Military Freedom Pass is purchasable for you and your family.

Here’s all the information you need to know if you’re eligible for the Freedom Pass.

Who Is eligible?

The Universal Orlando Resort is made up of 3 parks—Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, and Volcano Bay.

The Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure parks include the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, exciting rides, and so much more. The Volcano Bay includes water rides and water slides.

If you are serving active duty in a military branch or you’re a retired military service member, you and your spouse are eligible for the Universal Studios military discount. Disabled Veterans, Reservists, and active Department of Defense civilian personnel are also eligible for this discount. 

What’s Included in the Universal Studios Military Discount?

You may be wondering what is included in this discount. Once tickets are purchased, members of the military are eligible to attend two or all three parks with the Freedom Pass.

The military member that is eligible can then purchase and activate up to 6 promotional tickets.

If you’re planning a vacation and expect to spend more than one day at the Universal Parks, you can also receive a discount at Universal hotels. 

You can receive 40% off for staying at Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort and 30% at other Universal hotels.

On top of these discounts, the Freedom Pass also offers free valet parking and discounts on food and beverages.

Between resorts, hotels, and the excitement of the parks, it’s important to know how to purchase the Freedom Pass and to ensure you are receiving the military discount.  

In order to qualify, you must present your current identification at an Authorized Military and Ticket Travel Office. The pass is not available at the front gate or to purchase online. 

Once you arrive at the park, you have to present your valid identification card at the front gate ticket window to activate these tickets. 

With the perks and benefits of the military discount, Universal Studios is the perfect spot to vacation with your spouse and family.
