Best Flowers Military Discount Programs: Save Up to 30%

February 20, 2025 by Kevin

flowers in a vase

Finding ways to honor the service of our military members is a gesture many of us want to make. It’s often during occasions like Veteran’s Day, Valentine’s Day, anniversaries and more, that we wish for a flowers military discount. A special thank you could be sent to the veteran with such a discount.

I enjoy gifting flowers to military members as a small thank you for their service. A flowers military discount also helps with my budget. It makes selecting a floral arrangement or gift basket much easier, without sacrificing the quality of my gift.

This guide will show different options. You can support our troops with these opportunities.

Ways to Save with a Flowers Military Discount

Several companies offer military discounts on flowers and gifts. This benefits active duty, retired military, National Guard, Reserve, and veterans, as well as their families. Here are some options to consider.

1-800-Flowers Military Discount

1-800-Flowers offers a WeSalute+ Discount to military and veteran shoppers enrolled in WeSalute+. I frequently use 1-800-Flowers because they go out of their way to recognize military veterans.

The 1-800-Flowers family of brands provides a generous 30% military discount through WeSalute. This applies to many products across their family of brands. See the table below for more information:

BrandOffer
Harry & David30% military discount with WeSalute
Sheri’s Berries30% military discount with WeSalute
1-800-Baskets.com30% military discount with WeSalute
FruitBouquets.com30% military discount with WeSalute
Cheryl’s Cookies30% military discount with WeSalute
Personalization Mall30% military discount with WeSalute
The Popcorn Factory30% military discount with WeSalute
Wolferman’s Bakery30% military discount with WeSalute
Simply Chocolate30% military discount with WeSalute

1-800-Flowers also provides these benefits through many brands. Family members with a WeSalute+ Card are eligible for 25% off.

These brands include gourmet foods and personalized gifts. This allows you to give loved ones tokens of appreciation, especially for events such as Veterans Day.

If you have more of a sweet tooth, consider chocolate-covered strawberries. These berries pair well with a flower basket.

From You Flowers Military Discount

From You Flowers is part of my gifting routine, offering a 20% military discount. It includes fruit baskets and more, not just floral arrangements. This helps with providing many gift options for different events.

When you’re buying flowers, check for special offers. There’s sometimes an option where you can activate up to 10.0% cash back.

They are quite generous with their military discount. From You Flowers facilitates thoughtful gifting, offering options like same-day flower delivery or scheduled deliveries.

Other Retailers Offering Military Discounts

Many other stores provide military discounts, even if they are not specifically for flowers. I find this information valuable for many purchases.

Here’s a breakdown that can be helpful for other purchases:

  • Joann: Joann provides a 15% discount with military signup. This includes more than floral arrangements.
  • Michaels: They offer 15% off your entire purchase for all military members. This can be useful for DIY floral gifts.
  • Blue Nile: Get a 10% discount on specific jewelry. Consider this if you’re planning to include flowers for such an occasion.

You might consider combining your flower purchases for certain occassions. If it is a birthday, get birthday flowers to combine it all.

USAA and FTD Flowers

USAA members can get a 25% discount on flower arrangements. USAA serves many of its members, including retired navy families, through these partnerships. Active duty Space Force members also benefit from USAA membership.

Tips on Picking the Best Arrangement

Choosing the right flowers, like for Valentine’s Day flowers, can be tough. Picking floral arrangements goes with my thoughtful gift choices.

Here are considerations for selecting the best flowers to honor veterans:

Think about favorite flowers first. Check with family members and see if they have an idea. Maybe it’s a shared favorite flower. Select an assortment that covers different tastes or memories.

Colors have meanings and evoke certain emotions. Colors can convey your thoughtfulness.

Leveraging Same-Day Delivery

We sometimes forget special dates. Forgetting birthdays or holidays happens.

If this occurs, there are solutions you may not be aware of. Options like 1-800-Flowers provide many delivery choices, including same-day flower delivery. This also works for unexpected needs, like funeral flowers, allowing for a timely expression of condolences.

Seasonal Savings

Knowing the best holidays for flowers is important. You might shop for Valentine’s Day flowers during that specific time.

Look for military and student discounts, sometimes up to 20% off. This will provide the greatest savings.

Other Supporting Military Discounts Beyond Flowers

Consider ways to support military members’ daily lives. Active duty personnel often need running shoes.

The military might also want a running shoe discount. These discounts can make purchasing those items better and also showcase great support. The Coast Guard might appreciate discounts too.

Military life involves more than just shopping. Supporting businesses hopefully leads to more creative discounts.

Here are more discount opportunities. ID.me offers benefits in areas like food, meal delivery, gifts, and lifestyle for military veterans and the Air Force. Consider ID.me as another option for supporting all areas that apply to the military.

Conclusion

Supporting our military community through various discounts shows our appreciation. Many options are available, from flower military discounts at 1-800-Flowers or From You Flowers to discounts beyond flower purchases.

This allows us to express gratitude in multiple ways. These savings programs are beneficial to armed forces personnel, retirees, and their families. Discounts can also help support other areas such as a veteran’s health care. Providing discounts make our support more meaningful.
